Working the Land: an exhibition presenting Haptic’s recent work as part of the ongoing ‘Emerging Architects’ series of events hosted by Buro Happold in their London headquarter showspace.
Much of Haptic’s work is located in Norway, often in beautiful landscapes. Accordingly, “Light Touch”, a site-specific installation, took its inspiration from the drama of low-lying sunlight filtering through Norwegian forestscapes whilst providing a tranquil breakout space for Buro Happold staff and visitors.
The graphic scheme made prominent use of perspective drawings of this installation whilst echoing its slatted form in the typography — fields of fine lines within which all titles and captions were set. A fluorescent green palette offset the deep natural hues and light levels of the space.
