A Productive City

We are delighted to announce that Transport for London has awarded BOB a place on the Architecture and Urbanism framework for Graphic Design. We are looking forward to working with Transport for London and Greater London Authority for the next couple of years.
Our submission for the tender was a wayfinding scheme designed for “A Productive City”. The structures, catered for Kings Cross, stand on clear lines of sight. When viewed from certain points, they visually combine as ‘x’ beacons. Their rooftops incorporate micro green spaces to capture pollutants and foster bio-diversity while undersides display holographic prints of subterranean traces of history — site-specific educational information. Each point displays maps zoning the local area by colour coding to aid navigation and accessibility.
