To help mark its 30th anniversary we designed The Founders' Statement, a booklet capturing the practice's aims, values and ambitions across three decades. Its content references 'The Fifth Man' — the founders' collaborative diploma project from their final year at the Bartlett.

Our design does likewise, echoing this seminal work's use of red as a highlight across black and white text, imagery and drawings and celebrating it further through exposed red stitching.

Photographs of A, H, M and M (then and now) bookend the litho printed text while the foil blocked cover adds extra weight to this anniversary gift to the practice's staff around the world.
