Taking our cue from the interior’s slatted sculptural forms we traced transcripts of speeches by exceptional people with exceptional ideas, including Alan Turing, Marie Curie, Steve Jobs & Bill Gates, Stonewall Jackson and Igor Ansoff. We then used these typographic ‘building blocks’ to build visual compositions illustrating a key theme or characteristic from these historic moments. We also used this strongly linear visual language to create a family of brushed steel pictograms.
