Underground Urbanism
Underground Urbanism tips our cities upside down to rethink them from below. As architecture and masterplanning reach upwards, outwards and downwards, author Elizabeth Reynolds explores existing and emerging subterranean spaces across the world.

Our design follows these iceberg-like forms. We created a family of architectural diagrams to visualise each case study's scale, detail and texture and these vast, vertical voids inspired hanging, indented typography throughout. Simpler, graphic silhouettes showcase the spaces together on the book's cover while chapter dividers set titles more playfully above and below ground.
