HD Cubed highlights the studio’s wraparound service from creative consultancy and ideation, through to planning, development and marketing, and its international reach. Projects from the past 5 years are arranged across global time zones from Hawaii (GMT minus 10 hours) to Australia (GMT plus 11 hours).

This book-as-object is a perfect cube, embodying the brand’s 3D depths in the hand. We traverse planes, edge-printing the exterior faces to tell a global story and wrapping content across and beyond interior spreads. We also underpin the brand motto of ‘take another look’ by interspersing landscape and portrait orientations and using a tailor-built app (prompted by an embedded chip) to give access to immersive experiences and visualisation methods.

“We loved the idea of combining the tactile experience that a well-crafted book gives with digital technology. The cube format immediately changes the way you approach a book, and invites you to orientate it in different ways to reveal the virtual surprises that we’ve built in. HD Cubed is about physical form and allows our work to be experienced on the page but also in time and space, reflecting the way we work and the outputs that clients now need”
