Hayes Davidson is a leader in the field of visualisation, working in the built environment for over 30 years. We created a new identity and website that celebrates their continually pioneering and innovative approach.
Our concept is led by a living mark that prompts audiences to 'take another look' in the same spirit as HD's practice. We build this in a 3D wireframe so its strokes shift when seen from changing viewpoints—revealing ever new positions across print and digital applications. We echo this wireframe in a layout grid with equal numbers of columns and rows and pair the logo with the house typeface Caslon Doric, a modern evolution of a classic family of forms. The website invites interactive play with the logo and further 3D elements while page furniture shapeshifts as visitors browse. A sense of living forms is supported throughout by highlight and shadow hues that hint at edges and depths of architectural space.
