Curl La Tourelle Head responded to Covid-19’s challenge to health, educational and retail environments with an initiative of pop up spaces. Tent-like in form, these scalable structures act as additional teaching spaces, triage health centres and shop floors, helping communities in each setting maintain safe social distancing.

We created flyers for each sector to place the initiative in the hands of leaders in health, education and retail across the UK. Each strikes a balance between detailed communication of the scheme and a celebration of its spirit using pop up paper engineering.

The initiative received substantial national, international and design press coverage and has been prototyped within a range of locations and communities.
